SMSocial
SMSocial is growing beyond the traditional idea of a social network. We are currently building SMSocial Learn, a native learning experience designed directly inside SMSocial, and it will soon become available to SMSocial Pro users.
The idea is simple: if you already have a community, you should not need another external platform just to publish courses, lessons or educational content. Your members should be able to learn in the same environment where they communicate, follow people, join groups, watch videos and interact with your community.
SMSocial Learn is being built as part of the platform itself, not as a disconnected external LMS.
Administrators will be able to create courses, organise lessons, control their order and manage the publishing status of learning content directly from the SMSocial administration area. Lessons can be prepared as Draft, Published or Archived, giving site owners complete control over what learners can access.
Published lessons are automatically organised inside their course, while unpublished material stays private until it is ready.
For learners, the experience is deliberately different from the normal social network interface.
Opening a course launches Focus Learning Mode — a dedicated learning environment designed to remove the usual social distractions and keep the learner focused on the course.
The normal feed, messages and side navigation move out of the way. Instead, the learner sees the course overview, available lessons, estimated learning time and a clear path through the material.
Lessons are presented in the correct order and navigation is simple: move forward, go back to the previous lesson or exit the course at any time. Everything happens inside SMSocial without unnecessary page reloads or sending users through traditional WordPress pages.
The experience has also been designed mobile-first.
Courses should feel natural on a phone, not like a desktop learning management system squeezed onto a smaller screen. Focus Learning Mode uses a clean full-screen interface so learners can concentrate on the material wherever they are.
And this is only the foundation.
We are building SMSocial Learn so that future learning tools can live naturally inside the same system. Quizzes, question banks, learner progress, certificates, assignments and other educational features can be added progressively without changing the basic experience or forcing communities to move to another platform.
We are also exploring accessibility features such as text-to-speech, allowing learners to tap an audio icon and have questions, possible answers or lesson content read aloud. This could make courses easier to use for language learning, accessibility needs and people who simply prefer listening instead of reading.
Imagine running a professional community where members can communicate, follow updates and then open a training course without ever leaving your platform.

That is the direction behind SMSocial Learn.
We do not want SMSocial to become another collection of disconnected WordPress pages and plugins. The objective is to build a coherent digital platform where community, content and learning work together through one consistent interface.
The first version of SMSocial Learn will be included with SMSocial Pro and is currently under active development and testing.
If you already use SMSocial Pro, Learn will become another major capability available inside the platform as development progresses.
