These Terms of Service govern use of this SMSocial service. By creating or using an account, you agree to these Terms and the Community Guidelines. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

Eligibility and accounts

You must provide accurate account information, keep your credentials secure and be responsible for activity performed through your account. You must not create accounts for deceptive, unlawful or abusive purposes.

The configured minimum age for this service is 13. Age rules do not remove any separate online-safety, safeguarding or age-assurance obligations that may apply to the operator.

Your content

You keep ownership of content you create. You give the service operator a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to host, store, reproduce, process, adapt for technical delivery, display and distribute your content only as reasonably necessary to operate the features you choose, enforce these Terms, protect users and comply with law. This licence ends when the content is deleted, except where limited retention is technically or legally necessary.

You are responsible for having the rights and permissions needed for anything you upload or publish. Do not post content that infringes copyright, privacy, confidentiality, publicity or other rights.

Acceptable use

You must follow the Community Guidelines. We may restrict, remove or disable content or accounts where reasonably necessary for safety, security, legal compliance, rule enforcement or protection of other users.

Marketplace, Events and third-party activity

SMSocial may provide social discovery features for listings and events. Unless the operator expressly states otherwise, SMSocial is not the buyer, seller, ticket issuer, payment processor, delivery provider or guarantor of transactions between users. Users remain responsible for their own arrangements, due diligence and compliance with applicable law.

External links and embedded third-party services are controlled by their respective providers and may have their own terms and privacy practices.

Suspension and termination

We may suspend, restrict or terminate access where there is a material or repeated breach, security risk, legal requirement, serious safety concern, fraud, abuse, or misuse of the service. Where appropriate, users may use the complaints process described in the Online Safety, Reporting & Complaints page.

Service availability and liability

We aim to provide a reliable service but do not promise uninterrupted or error-free availability. Features may change, be suspended or be withdrawn. Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability where the law does not allow that exclusion, including applicable consumer rights or liability for fraud, death or personal injury caused by negligence where such limitation would be unlawful.

Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, subject to any mandatory rights you have under the law that applies to you. Courts with jurisdiction under applicable law may hear disputes.

Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms when the service or legal requirements change. If a change materially affects users, we should provide reasonable notice and may ask users to accept the updated Terms before continuing to use the service.
