Context and enforcement
Context matters. News reporting, education, counterspeech, documentary evidence and discussion of harmful topics may be treated differently from content that praises, facilitates or targets people with harm. Moderators may consider severity, intent, context, likelihood of harm, applicable law and prior behaviour.
Possible actions include no action, warnings, reduced visibility, content removal, feature restrictions, account suspension or termination, and referral to relevant authorities where appropriate or legally required.
Reporting
Use the in-product Report action where available. For urgent safety concerns, illegal-content reports, complaints about a moderation decision or issues that cannot be reported in-product, use the contact method on the Online Safety, Reporting & Complaints page.
