Data Rights & Account Deletion

SMSocial integrates with WordPress privacy tools so site administrators can process personal-data export and erasure requests. Account deletion and data erasure are related but not always identical operations.

Requesting a copy of your data

Contact the privacy address below. Where appropriate, the operator can use the WordPress personal-data export workflow to collect SMSocial profile, activity, comments, reactions, shares, saved items, relationships, notifications, messages, memberships, RSVPs, reports and owned/community records linked to your account.

Requesting erasure or account deletion

SMSocial can remove or redact many behavioural and profile records through the WordPress erasure workflow. Some authored content may be redacted or soft-deleted to preserve conversation or canonical references. Private relationship data, notifications and eligible memberships can be removed. Message attachments can be removed according to the erasure workflow.

Some moderation evidence, audit records, legal records, or records tied to Groups, Pages, Events or Marketplace assets you own may need to be retained, reassigned or reviewed before the WordPress user account itself can be deleted. SMSocial does not automatically delete the canonical WordPress user account.
