Cookie & Storage Policy

This policy explains cookies and similar browser-storage technologies used by this SMSocial deployment. The SMSocial application is designed to work without advertising or behavioural-tracking cookies in its core runtime.

Technologies used by SMSocial

• WordPress authentication cookies used to keep signed-in users authenticated and protect account sessions.
• A short-lived signed SMSocial browser-session cookie used during public authentication and verification flows. It does not itself authenticate a WordPress user.
• A language preference cookie and local storage value used to remember the SMSocial interface language selected by the user.
• Session storage used for temporary navigation, authentication-flow state, password-reset flow state and transient interface messages. This is cleared by the browser when the session ends.

Essential and preference storage

Authentication, security, fraud-prevention and user-requested preference storage may be necessary to provide the service or the feature you request. SMSocial core does not intentionally set optional advertising cookies.

Third-party content

If a page loads third-party media, embeds, links or services, that provider may receive technical information or use its own storage technologies. SMSocial uses privacy-enhanced YouTube embed URLs where supported, but third-party processing remains subject to the provider’s own practices.

If optional analytics or advertising are added

If this site later enables non-essential analytics, advertising or similar storage/access technologies, the operator must provide appropriate information and obtain valid consent before those technologies are used where PECR requires consent. Users should be able to reject non-essential technologies as easily as they accept them.
